Hygge

I heard you calling
Though most are oblivious
You caress my soul

This was originally about the lesser black-backed goldfinches I hear regularly in my neighborhood — a beautiful and cheerful bird. But as I was typing, I realized that it was equally appropriate for appreciating so many other things… a lover, a poignant moment, a walk in the woods, an inspiration… so I gave it an ambiguous, generic, title.
